Two Good Academic Resources, from the - University of Calgary , and University of Virginia

Some Specifically Christian Resources - If you disagree with the Christian worldview, you might be a bit prejudiced against them at the start. But consider this point - concerned as they are with doctrinal issues, and the nature of truth, the better of these sites actually tend to examine cults, particularly their belief systems, in greater depth and with more acuity than many of the secular sites, who are primarily concerned with their social, historical and psychological aspects.

Walter Martin Religious Infonet. The late Dr. Martin, who wrote 'The Kingdom of the Cults', was perhaps the preeminent Christian authority on 'cults'.

Watchman Fellowship a serious and exhaustive site..

Apologetics Index - one of the very best resources. You can find links here to the sites of the cults themselves, as well as 'pro and con' sources..

Dr. Rodriguez has done a very personal, earnest examination of many of the world's religions and cults..

OK, enough academics and theology. Let's dive into some cults headfirst!

Two Ancient Greek Cults: Cult of Dionysus , and Cult of Mithras

Killer Cults!

UFO Cults

The Swinging Swami's Secret Life!

Ordo Templi Orientis - the website of the US Grand Lodge of the cult started by Alistair Crowley

And, a nice friendly wrap up from our friends at Crank Net!
