Extreme Web Surfs!

Time for a humble yet fascinating beastie, the slug!

Real Slugs - from Cyberslugs site. The story of a lifelong relationship with slugs..

Slugs and Snails - basically the same thing, but the snail carries a house around..

Links to all kinds of slug pictures..

And OK, related more by name than anything else, Sea Slugs!

How to eat 'em.. ..from a 1910 description..

And the Sea Slug forum.. There is a story here, and a mission for those of us who believe in the importance of the WWW as an educational, research and communications tool. If you go to 'review messages' and look at the latest, you'll read this: Bill Rudman, who has run this forum for 7 years, is a 'Principal Research Scientist' at an Australian Museum. After all this time, in which he has united the small but dedicated world scientific community in the sea slug field with the forum, the powers that be have decreed that leading this forum is not a part of his 'job description', and forbidden him to continue. Sounds like the Wicked Witches are back in Oz.. will we idly stand by and watchg the sea slugs lose their best friend on the web? I leave it to you to decide..
