Extreme Web Surfs!

I love art by kids. I'm not being condescending, or sentimental. Unburdened with a million artistic conventions and inhibitions, their work often says something in a bold and direct way, that adults affecting a 'primitif' style just can't match. Here are a few places to view some:
An opposing view: MaddoxRules ..and OK, Mr. Maddox, if you 'reverse link' and get here, I'll confess, I split a gut laughing. Enough to recommend your whole site..
ONE OF MY FAVORITE MUSICIANS
Alison Kraus - this 'newgrass/country' artist has a beautiful voice, plays a fantastic fiddle, is a gifted songwriter, and is backed by the best musicians in the genre. Oh yeah, she's gorgeous too..
Providence Art Scene centered here
Bethany Hamilton - 13 year old surfing champ, attacked by shark; inspiring story of her indomitable faith and spirit
Scary Squirrels - and "lovey" has the scariest page..
Speaking of scary - Serious Ghost Studies and Pics
Historic Asylums - this is an excellent site; I have always been fascinated by the architecture and culture of these huge institutions, which have passed out of vogue now that it's considered better to use medication and integrate the mentally ill into the community ( My view - much better, IF the sufferers are truly provided with a caring and capable support network. To be homeless, frightened, alone and raving is NOT an improvement..)
