If you have been keeping up with MAARTEN'S BLOG , you'll have noted that he posted some cemetery links today, and supposed I'd like 'em. Well, HE WAS RIGHT! Not only did I like them, I was inspired to start off this posting with some mortuarial splendor..

This cemetery, located in Watertown Massachusetts, is eternal home to, among others, the Boston Literary Elite. Moreover, the influence of it's beautiful and well-planned garden grounds had a profound effect on cemetery development in America. Let's take a look at some aspects of this great necropolis:
